Saturday 11th June sees the return of the British Moth to its native habitat on the River Thames in Oxford
to join the largest fleet of moths in the country to compete for the Moth Bowl and Bossom's Cup for what
is always a great days racing and socialising.
Access to the club is via Binsey lane off the main Botley Road and then the “Bossom's gate” to the club.
Car parking is very limited on site, and visitors are requested to leave their cars on Binsey Lane during the
day after delivering boats.
With a little advanced warning boats can be dropped-off at the club on Fridayevening and left overnight;
please contact me Toby Smith: firstname.lastname@example.org for information.
The club and “Bossom's gate” will be open from 8:30ish, with tea/coffee/breakfast roll available on arrival.
Registration is from 09:30hrs with the 1st of 4 races starting at 10:45hrs, lunch at 13:15hrs and prizes
tea/cake after racing around 17:00hrs.
All moth sailors, their families and friends are welcome, and we are working on a good turn-out of the
home fleet which could easily see more than 20 boats on the water!
If last year's winners could please remember to bring back/make arrangements for the return of silverware
it would be much appreciated.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you are planning to attend so we can arrange the catering for the
day, and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
We look forward to seeing you all on the water.
